In honor of finally getting to start my photography course, and in an attempt to start making this site worth the yearly fee, I'm going to attempt to achieve a very simple goal. 5 photos uploaded a week in their own "weekly update gallery". Some will be new photos and others will be photos I've just never put up yet. Today is the first of the weekly 5.

We didn't go check this place out but it appeared to be a most interesting restaurant. That or someone went to a lot of trouble to have a cool porch.

Driving down they road we happened to see some truly "farm fresh" chicken for sale.

Needed to update this caption. This is NOT my girlfriend. This is my Wife.

This was one of the 5 I chose for the contest mostly because many people I showed it too really responded well to it. Since then its grown on me a lot and I now consider it a favourite of my small portfolio.

The Temple of Heaven

This is the monument to the Canadians who fought and died in the Korean War. Its quite nice and actually Paul's cousin helped organize some fundraisers to help pay for it a few years back - its fairly new.

Looks like a nice lovely walk to cool off on a hot summer day doesn't it? Of course, as this "river" is partially fed from the open sewer system, you won't see me cooling my heals in it anytime soon.

Yep, more Canal City

This is the statue of the workers that matches with the statue of the Red Army which I also have a picture of further down.
